About Ryoko Fujimoto
Ryoko Fujimoto is a singer-songwriter who performs
her original songs as the vocalist of Japanese R&B "Rainybirds",
Neo Soul/Jazz originals and standards 'Silver Moon' .
She performed at clubs, cafes and jazz festivals as "Rainybirds"
and as A Cappella jazz chorus band in Japan.
After moving to New York in 2009, she has studied
Seth Riggs' vocal method called Speech Level Singing (SLS)
and Jazz at Brooklyn Conservatory. Also she has got Level 1 of
Somatic voice work (http://somaticvoicework.com) vocal method.
She has performed at Sullivan Hall, The Bitter End, Club Macanudo ,
Don Hill's,Somethin' Jazz Club in NY and Prudential Center in NJ e.t.c..
Also she appeared on MMN TV shows and WPIX Morning show.
Her sound is uniquely influenced by many styles of music such photo by Naoko Takagi
as Neo Soul, Jazz, R&B, Soul, Funk, Blues, Bossa, J-POP (http://www.naokotakagi.com)
and artists such as The RH factor, Brian McKnight, Lalah Hathaway
Incognito, Melody Gardot, Donny Hathaway, Robert Grasper, D'Angelo,
Dianne Reeves, Joe Sample, Cecile McLorin, New York Voices, Jazmine Sullivan,
Dreams come true, and many others.

Silver Moon is original neo soul and Jazz trio formed by singer-song writer Riyoko,
whose music in a fusion of jazz, rhythm&bules, soul and pop which reflects
the range of influences she has been exposed to throughout her musical career.
Riyoko's experiences of studying jazz at Brooklyn Conservatory and the inspiration
by going a lot of Jazz clubs in NY led her into writing her own original jazz songs.
They perform at Jazz clubs, cafes, any other venues in New York.
The members are Riyoko (vocal), Federico De Vittor (piano),
Christopher Hall (bass) and Yuko Togami (drums).
